Buttons and bellows, note after note.

Notenn turns a score or a MIDI file into a diatonic accordion tab: which button to play, which way the bellows go, and the basses, no sheet music reading needed.

“Au clair de la lune” on a G/C box: blue is push, red is draw.

How it works

  1. Import a tune

A MIDI, MusicXML or ABC file, or a tune from the library. Notenn finds the melody by itself.

  2. Read the tab

Each note becomes a button number, on the push or draw line, with the bass that goes under it.

  3. Play and print

Listen with the cursor, slow it down, loop a passage, then download the PDF.

A notation made for the diatonic

Système Argoat puts push and draw on two separate lines, so you see at once when the bellows change. Rows are told apart by an apostrophe, and the staff is optional, for those who read music.
